I want it NOW… but WAIT says the Lord!!!

In this instant/fast/high-speed/non-stop world we wants things and desires to be done and fulfilled super-fast.

In this “super”- (ficial) world We make our life so complicated and tangled and result in circumstances where we blame- others, situation and get restless. When we do not get the things we desire or long for we get impatient and our mind is flooded with a flurry of negative thoughts & emotions… undoubtedly  at this point we keep forgetting the life’s purpose.

One of the purpose of our life in this earth is to “wait and be still” knowing that God is at work for us and He makes all things beautiful in His time.

You have to settle down, this knowledge is given for you to wait and calm your thoughts and emotions.…

Why it is important to wait??? Because hurry is the death of prayer. God speaks to the people who take time to listen. Psalms 62:5 says, “Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in Him”.

When we become frustrated with God’s apparent delay in answering our prayer, it is good to remember that He is interested in developing our faith and perseverance. He interested in developing our character, our personality.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”James 1: 2-4

There is no harm in asking what you need but don’t try to push it, endure it!!! The process makes the end product.

You don’t need to have a premature product, wait for maturity. Waiting upon the Lord means to “stand fast” and “press forward in faith”.

Bible talks about men of God who waited patiently upon the Lord whether it was Joseph waited 17 long years for his dream to come true or it was Abraham waiting for his promise child.

When we wait patiently and hope in God rather than men, He listens to our plea, and when He hears you don’t want anyone to hear you out.

We just have to develop our outlook towards God, because in the end what matters is our relationship with him.

“But they who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”- Isaiah 40:31
